Post-MBA career interests?: Post-MBA, I hope to continue working in consulting, shifting focus to the healthcare, retail, and consumer goods industries. I also want the chance to work on social impact initiatives. I've also been nursing thoughts about working for a mid-to-late stage start-up focused on one of these industries.
Why business school?: For me, business school was about two things: 1) taking a conscious step back to gain a broader view of the world of business through coursework and fellow classmates and 2) reflecting and refining my own leadership style while developing new managerial skills and competencies
Best thing about Wharton?: The community. I've never had access to such a diverse and large cohort of students, faculty, administrators, and alumni. They are all invested and supportive of your goals - both personal and professional. No matter what your interests, hobbies, or passions are, you will have not only an opportunity to further develop these but also new ones! Not to mention, the possibilities are truly endless at Wharton. Whether you'd like to try your hand at modeling in Penn's Charity Fashion Show or have always wanted to learn to mix your favorite cocktails. There is a place for you!
Fun fact?: I've been a vegetarian my whole life and enjoy cooking & baking - quarantine has been great for learning new recipes! I also studied abroad in Madrid, Spain, while an undergrad. There I became a red wine enthusiast and ran into Trevor Noah while visiting Machu Picchu in Peru.
What are you most excited about in your second year?: I am most excited to continue building relationships with my fellow Wharton classmates - from local getaways to international travel, small group dinners, and the daily walk to Huntsman. I can't wait to be reunited with everyone!
Favorite WWIB experience so far?: My absolute favorite experience thus far has been helping to organize and volunteer during our Wharton Women's Visit Day. I loved meeting the incredibly unique and bright prospective Wharton women and love discussing their ambitions while sharing the fantastic support and equity efforts at the school.
