Thought Leadership

Thought Leadership

Thought Leadership provides opportunities to hear first-hand from energizing, thought-provoking and inspirational leaders (and peers) on the issues that matter to students most. Thought Leadership works directly with alumnae, faculty, students, the Leadership Program Office and the WWIB Career Officers to bring inspirational speakers to campus and to establish Wharton’s leadership position as a hotbed of discussion on issues related to women in the workplace. It organizes events such as executive speaker lunches, receptions with well-known authors, student panels and small group article discussions (“Candid Conversations”) that spark dialogue on the opportunities and challenges women face. The ultimate aim of our Thought Leadership group is to create spaces for contemplation and spur discussions within the Wharton community that will support, challenge and benefit Wharton women.

Activities planned for this year will aim to:

  • Facilitate thought-provoking discussions on topic such as gender, leadership, work-life integration
  • Share exceptional Wharton women’s knowledge through speaker/story-telling events
  • Host pioneering, entrepreneurial, thoughtful speakers
  • Keep a pulse on current topics, articles and research
