Health & Wellness



The mission of WWIB Health & Wellness is to develop and implement programming that supports Wharton women in maintaining good mental and physical wellbeing. Our events tie into a health & wellness triad comprised of fitness, nutrition and mental health. We also focus on building friendships within the Wharton community and strengthening connections with local female entrepreneurs.

  • Barre and yoga classes
  • Jiu-Jitsu self-defense workshop at Balance Studios
  • Fitness class with female entrepreneurs
  • Small group brunch post Wharton 5K race
  • Rock climbing
  • Group hikes


  • Healthy cookery workshop with Philly-based female entrepreneur
  • Healthy breakfast event
  • Promotions for subscription food providers
  • Healthy snack giveaways during finals week

Mental health:

  • Massages during finals week with Phila Massages
  • Mindfulness meditation workshop
